HOME SWEET HOME

There are many types of homes here in Misawa Air Base there are of  course dorm rooms they have two doors but they are one bed room one bath room it has living room area and a sink  the refrigerator is in the next room   by the other door kind of in the bed room but not really I guess the bath room is between the living room and bed rooms. And then there are reg. apartment that are two bed rooms and one bath, then H  housing that are two bed rooms and one and one half bathroom ( which is a bath room with just a toilets and sink) the are two stores and they both have very nice yards but they have to shovel snow and mowed, rake and weed eat. Then there is were I live in a nine store building call towers pretty much an apartment building lol but I live on the seventh floor and my home is three bedrooms and two bath rooms they have changed the roll after we got here and you can't live here in less you have kids we have been here for almost two years. But it's very nice and big of course we have a kitchen the washer and dryer are in there we have a huge pantry and a little one for the food, we have a living room and dinning room and one of the balcony's are there and when you look out there you can see some off off base Japan very pretty to see then you go down the hallways and to you left is the first bathroom it has a bathtub with a shower head, then to the right his my baby tucker's room ( my cat) / computer room but it's kind moor Tucker's room since the computers in the living room lol. The next room after the is the guest room the view is also of off base Japan.Like every room they have two closet and uperstorge to its really cool the nest room to the left is the master bed room it also has a balcony in it  but all you can see is trees and the really pretty Carin's and the crowadactyl there freak huge they look like they can pick you up and fly away. But any ways back to the house the master bed room has a bath room in it it has a shower in that room in both bath rooms is all til. The entire house is white you can paint it off wait or light color as long as it can be painted over again and the carpet is tan and there a pretty border going all the way around on the floor. When we got here we had to ding a paper saying we well not lick the wall or take up the carpet because the paint is led and asbestos is in under the carpet I thought it was pretty funny. Well that is all i can think  of to tell you about the houses they are changing all the houses right now but that's what my house like now hehe Ill show some pix of my house so you can see what it looks like since I'm not good at explain very well lol I hope you have enjoyed!

Weather In Misawa Japan

Living In Japan

Hello my name is Riley Lea.

I thought I would share a few things about were I live Misawa Japan, and the people I have meet.Well I am married to Jayce and we have been here for a year and a half now it as been an awesome adventure so far. The culture is very different but also very beautiful. We have also made so many good friends on the way some of them are Alissa the the other person that well be helping with this blog and one for my best friends she is ( well I say married but their not yet) married to Keith they have been here and here for a Little wail, there is Falon another one of my best friends she is married to Johnathan and they have also have been here for about a year and a half now that pretty much that's the nerd group but you gotta love us and there are so many other ppl but to many to name and it well take all night lol. So getting back to Japan one fun fact about Japan is you can be 20 and buy any thing it's like the states 21, They havvending machines about every were the joke is if you don't see one Ur in trouble and most of them have very wired things in them like eggs, beer, and porn yes they have shakes for that it's pretty funny. One of the best place to shop in the Rycylebin they have about every thing there it's in Hachinohe which is about an hour in less you take the toll roads witch can be really expensive. The malls here are very cool it can be really hard to buy things though since most Japaneses people speak only broken English so they have to get out an computer and us an translator. There are also great places to eat and it's not like Japaneses food back home there is Cheese Rolls one of my favs Sukis and the Yakiniku House and Vikings which kind of are the same thing but Yakiniku House more but taste better to me. They have a McDonald's also and a place called Coco's it's pretty good on base the have all the normal place have when we have festivals Japaneses love to come on base and buy the Pizza since most of there pizzas are very small.Anuther big thing here is the snow once noverber comes around snow bording is Big we get a lot of snow most of the time it melt super fast but soe tim we can get up to 14 inches or more and it stays cold all the way till June some times and wen summer gets here it is very hot 100 and we are not allowed airconditioner so it really hot ibn the houses.Well this is all I am going to right about for now I well up load some pix for every one to see. I hope you enjoy this blog! Rye Lea
